![]() I found that necessary in order to install BootCamp on Mini Server. both show as Master Boot Record.Īlso when Bootcamp Assistant formated the 2nd harddisk did it install the necessary files into root to boot the Windows formatted harddisk?Īs there seem to be rules against posting in a thread except the exact subject, here is a link to how to install Snow Leopard on the unused second 500 gig harddisk on Mini Server. One of the shown disk0 is just one 500gig partition, and the other is showing a 200mb first partition followed by a second 500gig partition. I don't understand why it is showing two disk0 when there is just one disk formatted for Windows showing in Disk Utility. It doesn't show the 1st disk which has the Server Operating System installed on it. ![]() Windows installer shows two disk0 to choose from, both showing as Master Boot Record. It did format disk 2 for Windows, but apparently Fat16 because the Windows installer wants to reformat to NTFS. I copied BootCamp Assistant from my 2009 MacMini Client computer to the 2010 Server and it seems to be a free standing application. I would like to get input from people having ideas on using BootCamp Assistant on the 2010 Mini Server to install Windows-XP to the unused second harddisk. ![]()
